Sinica Education Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
Sinica Education Inc. ("Sinica," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit www.sinicaeducation.com or another website or online service that links to this Privacy Policy, submit an inquiry, subscribe to communications, enroll in or receive our educational services, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information processed solely on behalf of a school, school district, or other educational institution under a separate agreement. In those circumstances, the institution's privacy notice and our agreement with that institution may govern. It also does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use limited cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate and secure our website, remember user preferences, and support basic website functionality.
We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or the sale or sharing of personal information.
You may configure your browser to block or delete cookies. However, disabling certain cookies may affect the availability or functionality of parts of our website.
Because we do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information, the website does not currently provide a separate advertising-cookie opt-out tool. Our website may not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because there is no uniform industry standard for recognizing such signals. If our cookie practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers and contractors that perform services for us, including website hosting, cloud storage, learning platforms, scheduling, communications, customer management, payment processing, analytics, security, professional services, and technical support;
- Tutors, instructors, counselors, and educational partners as reasonably necessary to provide requested services;
- Schools, institutions, parents, or guardians when authorized, required by an agreement, reasonably necessary to provide services, or otherwise permitted by law;
- Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers;

- Parties to a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent. We may use and disclose aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual and will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law.
Sinica does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Sinica does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.
6. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended to be used by parents, legal guardians, educational institutions, and students who are at least 13 years old. Children under 13 may not independently submit personal information, create an account, enroll in services, or subscribe to marketing communications. A parent or legal guardian must complete these activities on the child’s behalf.
When we knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13 in a context subject to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will provide required notice, obtain verifiable parental consent before collection unless an exception applies, collect only information reasonably necessary for the activity, allow the parent or guardian to review or request deletion of the child's information, and maintain appropriate safeguards.
A parent or legal guardian who believes a child under 13 submitted personal information without appropriate authorization may contact us at Info@liumeihui.com. We will review the request and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
7. Student Records and School Relationships
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) generally applies to qualifying educational institutions and education records maintained by them or by a party acting for them. Sinica is not automatically subject to FERPA merely because it provides tutoring or educational services. When we receive or process education records on behalf of a school or institution under a written agreement, we will handle those records in accordance with the agreement and applicable law. Requests concerning records controlled by a school should generally be directed to that school.
8. Marketing Communications
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may continue to send non-promotional communications about an inquiry, enrollment, transaction, class, account, safety issue, or our ongoing business relationship.
If we offer marketing text messages, we will request any consent required by applicable law. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing services. Message and data rates may apply, and instructions for opting out will be provided with the messages.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain academic and business records, comply with legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the nature of our relationship, operational needs, and legal requirements. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and should notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of certain processing, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, profiling, or the sale or sharing of personal information and to appeal a decision on a privacy request.
To submit a request, email Info@liumeihui.com with the subject line Privacy Request or call 310-388-8750. Please describe the request and provide information reasonably necessary for us to identify relevant records. We may verify your identity before completing certain requests. We will use information submitted for verification only to process and document the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law; we may require proof of authority and direct verification with the consumer.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason when required by law. Rights may differ depending on residence and whether a particular law applies to Sinica.
12. California Privacy Notice
This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy for California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), applies only if Sinica meets its statutory applicability requirements. When the CCPA applies, California residents may have the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about Sinica's collection, use, disclosure, sale, and sharing of personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and to receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination.
During the preceding 12 months, Sinica has not sold personal information or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Accordingly, Sinica does not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any opt-out methods required by applicable law.
We may disclose the categories described in Section 1 for business purposes to service providers, contractors, instructors, educational partners, professional advisers, payment providers, and other recipients described in Section 5. We do not sell personal information for money. If our use of analytics or advertising technologies constitutes sale or sharing, the categories involved may include identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity, approximate location, commercial information, and inferences, and the recipients may include analytics and advertising partners.
California residents may exercise applicable rights using the methods in Section 11 and may opt out of covered sale or sharing through the website's Your Privacy Choices link. If Sinica uses sensitive personal information beyond purposes permitted without a limitation right, we will provide the legally required Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information method.
California's "Shine the Light" law may permit California residents with an established business relationship to request certain information regarding disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. Such requests may be sent to Info@liumeihui.com with the subject line California Shine the Light Request.
13. International Users
Sinica is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws different from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, social networks, payment services, or learning tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We encourage you to review them before providing information.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
